Also it is important that you have the right settings for locations services and battery optimization switched off.

To get the most out of the RISER app, it is sometimes necessary to adapt the settings of your phone. Since the app relies on the information that it gets from the GPS sensor, it is crucial to have the right setup in order to let the app know where you are on the road and record the right locations.
To make sure you have the right settings for RISER on your iPhone follow these steps:
1. Open the settings of your iPhone
2. Scroll down until you see RISER
3. Open “Location” and set to “Always”
4. Go back 1 step
5. Activate “Background App refresh”
The settings for location permissions on Android are similar to the ones above for iPhone. Make sure RISER is allowed to use your location “while using the app” and check your battery optimization settings to have the optimal setup.
1. Open the settings of your Android phone
2. Go to Apps / Manage Apps
3. Navigate to RISER
4. Open permission
5. Set location to “While using the app”
On Android it is also important to disable the battery saving modes. If they are activated, it might occur that the phone will prevent the RISER app from getting location information when running in the background which can lead to straight lines in your recorded trips.
To check if the battery saving options are enabled:
1. Open the RISER app
2. Go to More -> Settings
3. Scroll down to “App optimization” and check if you have it marked with a green checkmark. If so – you are all set for your next adventure. If not it is necessary to do some adaptions.
Adapt settings for battery optimizations
1. Tap on “App Optimization”
2. Click “Go to settings”
3. Select “All apps” (default might be “Not optimized”)
4. Srcoll down to RISER
5. Make sure you have “Not optimized” enabled
You can add one or more motorcycles to your personal profile.
You can then assign the bikes to the trips you did or select your preferred bike before the ride.
To add a bike, go to your profile (menu "More" - > "My profile") and tap on garage.
Click on the plus symbol to add your bike and expand your garage. You will be able to see an overview of all driven kilometers per bike as well as the number of ridden trips per motorcycle.
Pack Ride is our worldwide unique feature to organize group rides spontaneously and easily!
The feature is thought as an easy way to start a group ride with your friends and keep your group together while you're on the road without having to look in the rearview mirror all the time to check if everyone is still there.
Go to your Home Screen on the RISER App and press the circle menu button.
You will see the Pack Ride Icon on the bottom left side of the circle.
Press the button and create a Pack Ride! You can choose whether to make it publicly visible or visible only to your friends. If you make it visible to the public, everyone in your area who's on RISER and out there (in an area of 500 m around your location) looking for a ride companion, will be able to join. If you make it available only for friends, only your friends will see you.
When new people / friends join the pack, you will get a notification. Now you can start your trip together and you will see your pack moving along together. Every user on the group has an avatar that you can see live on the map!
Get notifications or send some when you need a break or when someone fell behind: If you need fuel, a break or other things, you can receive notifications from others or send some. The app will also notify you automatically when someone fell behind!
We are constantly improving the app and platform due to the feedback that we get from the community.
We are looking forward to hearing from you!
You can set your preferred unit of measure (Metric -Kilometer- or Imperial -Miles-) in the app in the menu item "More" -> "Settings" under the item "Units".
RISER has ambassadors around the globe. We invite passionate riders that share their awesome tours across the platform to motivate others.
We are looking forward to your messages.
